New Beers

posted April 1, 2014
New bottled beers in the cooler this week, perfect for taking home or having here at ABV during Happy Hour....

1) The Bruery's "Sour in the Rye," a sour rye ale aged in oak barrels. YUM!!

2) Anchorage Brewing's "Between the Staves," a sour ale fermented in oak tanks and aged 11 months in cognac bottles.. DOUBLE YUM!!

3) Mikkeller's "AK Alive," an Alaskan wild ale brewed in collaboration with Anchorage Brewing

4) Fort George's "OTex," a double IPA from one of my favorite Northwest breweries

5) Epic Brewing's "Smoked and Oaked," Belgian-style Ale

6) Laurelwood's "Laurelweizen," an unfiltered wheat beer, and a bargain at only $3.95 per bomber

7) Epic Brewing's "Smoked Porter," another smoky classic from our friends in Utah

8) Theakston's "Old Peculiar," a long-lost English favorite that was unavailable in Oregon for many years, but now is back in town and we have a hard time keeping it in stock here at mainbrew. Brewed with molasses!

9) No-Li Brewing's "Skyrail," a single-hop IPA (Amarillo) brewed in Spokane

10) Alameda Brewing's "Bad Bunny," a perennial favorite for beer-lovers at Easter time.

11) Freigeist's "Hoppeditz," a malty-rich dopplesticke alt bier, straight from the Fatherland.

12) Crooked Fence's Exiled Series "Risen Rye Stout," with a definitely diabolical label!

That's the cooler stuff in the cooler this week. Come by and check it out and have one at ABV this week!
