New Beers in the Cooler - 12/29/12

posted December 29, 2012
Our "Saturday Six:" new beers in the cooler this week, just in time for the New Year's upcoming festivities....

1) Drake's Brewing "Drakonic Imperial Stout" - a very hard to get beer from the Bay Area of California. We were allocated one case and may not see any more for awhile. A bargain at $6.35 per bomber.

2) Uinta's "Sea Legs Baltic Porter," a beautiful 750 ml bottle with an excellent representation of an unusual style

3) Hale's Ales "SuperGoose IPA," which consistently wins "Best IPA" rewards whenever it is blind-taste-tested

4) Lindeman's Cassis Lambic, a great sour beer with black currants brewed from Belgium

5) 21st Amendment's "Brewed on Hog Island" Oyster Stout brewed with actual Sweetwater oyster shells

6) Piraat Belgian Ale, a 10.5% abv beer that rates a 95 on rate beer: http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/piraat-105/3962/

We also have a great lineup on beers on growler-filling for the New Year's weekend, including the very-rare Boneyard Armored Fist CDA, and the always-incredible Boneyard Hop Venom.

And we are also fully-stocked on kegs for any New Years parties this weekend.

Cheers!! Have a safe and Happy New Year!
Kevin
