The Friday Five!

posted September 28, 2012
We have some new cool bottled beers in our cooler this week:

1) Fontein Oude Gueze "Golden Blend" - the world's best gueze lambic by one of the world's premier breweries.  Very very limited quantity in the Portland area, and we have twelve - no, make that eleven - bottles sitting in our cooler....

2) Wells's "Banana Bread Beer" - often requested and finally here at mainbrew - do you like banana bread? (silly question!) - do you like beer? (more sillier question!) - Have both in one!  A world-famous beer from England

3) Epic Brewing's "Imperial Pumpkin Porter,"  from Utah, brewed with pumpkin and spices

4) Wychwood Brewing's Special Reserve "King Goblin" - the perfect beer for your happy Halloween festivities, or to drink by yourself in the dark as you sit on your porch dressed as a mannequin and jump out to scare little kids while throwing full-sized Mars Bars into their plastic pumpkins while laughing maniacally       http://bit.ly/Sj0wSB

5) Freigeist Bierkultur "Hoppeditz" - a hoppier-than-normal doppelsticke alt from The Fatherland

and just because five is jive, lucky number

6) Epic Brewing's Fest Devious, a Maerzen from Utah that is undergoing an identity crisis and is not really a Maerzen.  Or so I am told.

Cheers!
