Main Street Homebrew Supply Co. was founded in 1991 by its present owner, operator and spiritual leader, Kevin. Kevin has a degree and a background in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California, and a continuing dedication to providing accurate, scientifically valid information to homebrewers and winemakers. He believes that with the proper information, making quality products becomes a sure thing: it is only through false information that people are led astray into the twisted corridors of weird fermentations.

But he also knows that with the huge amount of information that is already Out There, people are often confused about what (exactly) are the proper procedures; therefore, he insists that there are no "stupid" questions, and he encourages beginners (in particular) to call as much as necessary so that they feel totally comfortable with the entire process, start to finish.

You may also come upon Doug while in the store. Doug is well-trained in customer service and has many years of wine and beer-making experience to help him answer even the most complex questions. He has recently become obsessed with mead-making and has been producing some incredible honey meads out of unusual ingredients. He has also taken up beekeeping recently, so if you have any questions about raising your own bees, Doug is now a wealth of information. Be sure to ask him some of his tricks when you see him in the store...
