SlapJack Rye Beer: This is an awesome hot-weather beer, golden-yellow, with the spicy aromatic qualities that rye adds. Hopped with German noble hops, this is a classic summer thirst-quencher, and very popular with those that like American-style wheat beers. Rye is very hard to integrate into a beer without the (more advanced) act of "mashing" so this recipe actually has a few pounds of enzymatic malt to really pull the flavor out of those rye flakes. Full instructions included. PRICE: $35.00 |

BeerHeart (Heather Ale): A relatively new ale in the Main Street repertoire, this is a wonderful light-bodied golden ale with the unique aromatic qualities of heather, in place of the normal hops. Heather adds bitterness (as do hops) , but the flavor and aroma is totally unique and extremely enjoyable. This hearkens back to the beers of the Druids and Stonehenge, but will be enjoyed by everybody who still enjoys a "real beer." |

Fourth King (Holiday Ale): A spicy, aromatic winter ale with a rich buttery malt character, and the delicate essences of nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla found throughout it. The trick to spiced beers is NOT to overdo the spices, and this achieves a wonderful balance between spices and true beer character. Slightly higher in alcohol (to enhance the winter festivities!), this beer should be brewed by September to really be in prime form for Christmas. (You provide spices.) PRICE: $36.00 |

Chocolate Stout: A hearty rich stout enhanced with the aroma and taste of baker's chocolate makes for a great after-dinner beer. This stout is slightly "softer" than a traditional stout (with less barley bite) but has a healthy bitterness both from the hops used and from the naturally bitter baker's chocolate. Needs a few extra months in the bottle for aging, but is incredible when fully mature. (You provide chocolate, instructions included) PRICE: $34.00 |

Hazelnut Porter (or Brown Ale): (Please specify when ordering.) |
|
Snowfall Porter (Vanilla): Another great porter, only this one is bottled with a healthy dose of vanilla extract to give it a rich vanilla aroma along with its hearty chocolate and caramel base notes. A great holiday beer, as well as just being a good alternative version to a wonderful basic brew. (You provide vanilla extract, instructions included.) PRICE: $34.00 |

Joe Stout: A rich, bittersweet coffee stout, with balanced flavors of chocolate and caramel, but an unmistakable roasted coffee edge. Higher in alcohol and malt (to balance the roasted flavors of the coffee) this is a great after-dinner beer, or - hey, who am I fooling - even a morning breakfast sipper. With lots of aging potential, this is a good beer for laying down, and seeing its evolution over four or six months. You provide your favorite coffee... |

Cuppa Joe Coffee Porter: A great porter with the subtle (or not so subtle - your choice!!) flavor of coffee blended into it. Using your favorite coffee variety, this beer has a good bitter back-flavor (like any good cup of coffee!) but also a nice rich sweet caramel note to balance it off. Instructions included for varying amounts of coffee additions - you provide coarse-ground beans) PRICE: $34.00 |
