Seasonal and Christmas Ales

posted November 17, 2012
Christmas is coming early to mainbrew, with lots of new seasonal bottled beers and kegs. New bottled beers in the cooler this weekend:
1) The Bruery "5 Golden Rings," a golden ale brewed with pineapple juice and spices
2) The Bruery's "Rueze," a sour blonde (gueze) ale aged in oak barrels; this one is very tart and refreshing, a great representation of the style
3) The Bruery's "Smoking Wood," a
smoked imperial rye porter aged in rye whiskey barrels (!) - this sounds awesome to me
4) Double Mountain's very solid seasonal winter release, "Fa La La La La,"
5) "Delirium Noel," the winter version of Delirium's world-class Belgian ale
6) Jolly Pumpkin's "Noel de Calabaza," a wintery Special Ale aged in oak barrels
7) Elysian's "Valhalla" Red IPA, brewed with Simcoe and the very-hard-find Sorachi Ace hops
8) Calapooia's "Devil's Hole Stout"

And a reminder we are now open to 6:00 pm every Saturday: cheers!!!
